Investigated the issue. Here's what I found and did:
Root cause: Stripe webhook timeout — the /api/webhooks/stripe endpoint was timing out at 10s.
Actions taken:
• Increased timeout to 30s on Vercel config
• Added retry logic for failed webhook events
• Created Linear issue ENG-1847 for permanent fix
• Notified #engineering on Slack
Status: Webhook processing is back to normal. All 3 failed checkouts have been retried and completed successfully.
